Public participation forms a vital part of democracy. To this end, the Mossel Bay Municipality invites all residents and/or persons owning property in Mossel Bay municipal area to participate in a Satisfaction Survey, by clicking this link

The survey serves to measure the Municipality’s operational efficacy and provides a feedback mechanism to the Municipality to gauge the levels of community satisfaction.

Why public participation?

Section 152 (I) of the Constitution (Act 108 of 1996) provides for public involvement in the sphere of local government by compelling it to "provide democratic and accountable government for local communities; and encourage the involvement of communities and community organisations in the matters of local government."
