MEDIA RELEASE: SPORTS AND RECREATION FESTIVAL 2026 - Featuring almost 70 reasons to get active

The 2026 Mossel Bay Sport and Recreation Festival is under way, featuring no fewer than 70 events, the largest programme since the festival was established!

From 29 August to 18 October 2026, residents and visitors can look forward to an action-packed celebration of sport and recreation at venues across the municipal area.

Hosted in collaboration with local sporting clubs and organisations, the festival offers something for different ages, interests and abilities. It promotes active lifestyles, showcases local talent and brings communities together through healthy competition and shared experiences.
