NOTICE: FINANCE LINKED INDIVIDUAL SUBSIDY PROGRAMME (FLISP)

If your monthly househould income ranges from R3501 – R15 000, we can help you become a homeowner.

The Western Cape Department of Human Settlements invites you to attend a Finance Linked Individual Subsidy Programme (FLISP) support workshop assisted by your local municipality of Mossel Bay.

First time buyers and low-to-middle income households face many barriers when entering the property market. Challenges include affordability, credit worthiness and the supply of affordable housing in the province. FLISP aims to provide qualifying applicants, who secure mortgage finance with a financial institution, with a once-off subsidy towards their bond.

Join us to learn more about affordable housing and find out whether FLISP can help you.

Date      : 19 August 2017

Time      : 09:00 – 13:00

Venue  : D’Almeida Community Hall

The workshop will include:

  1. Four training sessions, held every hour, to guide future applicants on how to access the FLISP subsidy.
  2. Dedicated hands-on support in preparing FLISP application forms.

For more details, contact Riaan Pienaar, principal clerk: Human Settlements at Mossel Bay Municipality, on (044) 606-5187.
