TENDER 1/2012: ELECTRIFICATION OF LOW COST HOUSES FOR AND BEHALF OF THE MUNICIPALITY FOR THE PERIOD ENDING 30 JUNE 2014
Tenders are hereby invited from contractors with a CIDB grading of 3EP or higher for the supply, installation and commissioning of equipment for the Medium- and Low voltage reticulation of erven to be electrified for and behalf of the Municipality for the period ending 30 June 2014.
A set of fully completed tender documents must be submitted on the original documents and remain valid for 90 days after the closing date of the tender. Enquiries about the tender and the completion of the documents can be addressed to Mr JB Snyman at telephone (044) 691-2074.
A set of tender documents can be obtained at a non-refundable cost of R150, including VAT. Tender documents can only be obtained at the compulsory site meeting which will take place at 11:00 on 2 February 2012 at the Directorate: Technical Services, 4 George Road, Mossel Bay. All partners of a Joint Venture must attend this compulsory meeting. All payments must be done prior to the site meeting and no payment will be accepted after the site meeting.
Documents will only be handed to prospective bidders who produce a receipt for the payment of the tender document. Payments must be made by crossed cheque payable to the Mossel Bay Municipality. Documents that are e-mailed to prospective bidders will be free of charge. Additional sets of tender documents are available at a cost of R150 per set.
A set of fully completed tender documents must be placed in a sealed envelope and placed in the tender box on the Lower Ground floor (seaside) at the Mossel Bay Municipality by not later than 12:00 on Friday 17 February 2012 or be mailed to reach the Tender Box, Mossel Bay Municipality, PO Box 25, Mossel Bay, 6500 before the specified closing date and time. The envelopes must be endorsed clearly with the number, title and closing date of the tender as above.
