The organising of Mossel Bay’s second sports festival from 20 September 2013 to 24 September 2013 has kicked off in all earnest and 28 sports codes have already indicated that they would be staging events as part of the festival. The Mossel Bay Sports Festival, which was held at the end of September, was a big success and achieved its goal. More than 2 000 sportsmen and sportswomen from across the country, as well as Kenyan marathon athletes, participated in the 27 different sports events during the festival.
