Emo, who will be supported by his own band, has been involved in performing arts since the age of six when he performed in District 6: The Musical. He also had a leading role in Kat and the Kings, which was written and produced by David Kramer and the late Taliep Pietersen. Emo has his own TV programme on Kyknet, namely “Jou Show met Emo”. His performance at the festival is sponsored by the ATKV.

Marcha Lombard, who made her name in Supersterre, and Alzonia Titus, an Afrikaans Idols finalist in 2006, will perform on Saturday, 4 February at the Fredi Nest and Arno Jordaan concert.

The SA Police Band, will, in addition to participating in the festival street parade on 4 February also do public performances at the Harry Giddey Park on Saturday, 4 February from 19:00 onwards and at the festival arena at 12:00 on Sunday, 5 February, where they will perform classical music.
